My -er Months Haul

Annyeong people! Finally I'm writting here again, after like uummm...forever? Well, it couldn't be helped, I was so busy with my daily activities to the point I prefer to sleep when I had spare time.

Actually there were a bunch of stuff in my head that I wanted to write first to celebrate my "comeback" (errr what???). But days ago I got my long-time-to-wait package. Yup, I did ordered some beauty stuff to fill my obsession about make up. So I decided to make a post about it^^

Firstly, why "My -er Months Haul"?? I just recently realized that I was really too extravagant about my money in term of shopping. Yeah, I did spent alot on make up, something that people around me found it strange. Most of my friends prefer to buy any other longer lasting item such fashion stuff. And make up, yup it was meant to be used and u need to buy the new one soon after u finishes ur old one. Plus, the girls around me didn't pay too much attention to make up (wake up gurl).

Well, if u compared me to other girls out there who spent much more money than me to buy any kind of make up, u must be wondering why I called myself extravagant. First, I'm still a student who got her allowance from parents. My parent did trust me with money they gave, means they don't care how I used them but I couldn't get extra money in case I spent them before the next allowance sent. Actually my mum found out about my obsession and she just didn't really agree with my way to spend the money. She just was afraid that make up I bought wouldn't suit my skin and would only worsen my skin condition (I only shopped Korean products that actually meant for Korean). But I ensured her that it was what I loved and I wouldn't causing any troubles for them, that I would take really good care for my skin and my health. Back to the topic, so since I depended to my parent for my income, I couldn't carelessly spent them although I really loved make up. So everytime my shopping galore attacked me, I would really be careful. I measured what I need in a month (for food, internet cost and room rent) thinking whether I could 'survived' if I bought new make up and browsing whether the thing that I wanted really good or not. Second, since I was shopping in online shop I needed to pay the delivery cost. This was the things that make me thinking twice to shop. Whether ur package is small or big the cost would be almost the same.

Since I was stingy about delivery cost, I decided to purchase anything in large haul so I needed to save money. I made list about product that I wanted and ended up shock. The price was more than 3 millions! LOL!! That was almost impossible, so I scanned the list more than once and chose item that I really needed (or wanted XP).

I called it "-er Months Haul" since the products showed below were purchased around September, October and November. I was pretty sure that I wouldn't buy anything in this December (I haven't pay this month's rent ;(!!!)

Ooopss, I ended up talking too much! Let's just see what I got from this past three months!

 Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cotton Fit in W24 (Honey Beige)

Fyyuhhh, such a long name. Korean really loves to named their product with long and (sometimes) ridiculous name. Well, but this one could be considered as normal and short name compared to other products. This BB Cream was on my whislist since forever. I was always wonder about Korean BB Cream. Before had this one, I owned 3 other BB Creams: Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream(Natural), Caring Color BB Cream Luminizing (that was my mom's!!) and Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector (only one shade). There were bunch of positive reviews about this Etude House's BB Cream and many beauty bloggers loved it so much. I see why now ><.  I got this on September, the reason I hurriedly bought it was it was on discount!! I got this araound IDR130!! Man, I couldn't let the gold chance slipped away right? I didn't have any regret. This BB worked so well that even my makeup-blind-friend praised it alot. <3 <3 <3

Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Milk

Yup, this one was the full size ver from what I got from my (mixed) haul. I loved how it worked to cleanse my face. And since I really need to take care of my skin, I bought it. Actually it was more than 2 months I skipped milk cleanser, I got busier and had no time to bought it at that time. I began to forget about milk cleanser until my teacher told me the importance of milk cleanser as deep cleansing. Everyone, milk cleanser is important to purify ur skin from any harm things (either it is make up residue, air pollution or dust)! So make sure to have it on ur skincare routine! I got this around November. Since this full size didn't have any discount price, so it cost me more than I imagined (around IDR16!! LOL)!!!

 

Etude House (Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam, Soft Touch Auto Lip Liner AD#2 & 5, Wonder Pore Freshner 250 ml), Baviphat Brush Set, Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse No 02 & 04

Taraaaahhhhhhh.....the highlight of this "-er Months haul!!!" Actually I also ordered Etude House Sweet Recipe Sliced Cake Puffs, but it was out of stock (sad face, I really wanted to try using puff though). This whole cost me around IDR500! Whoah! That's a lot! But I really was satisfied and didn't feel any regret at all. usually I would feel at fault whenever I spent too much money. But it didn't appear this time. I guessed I really went through many deep thinking before purchased it so no fault at all. I placed my order on November but the package arrived at 3rd December. Quite late but thankfully they arrived safely. Let's take a closer look to this!

 Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 250 ml

Yeah, who wouldn't know this so infamous toner from Etude House?? It was cheap with huge product and nice result. I've been wanted this multifunction toner from veeeery long time. I got the smaller size since I didn't know whether it would suit my skin or not. Once I verify that this product was really from me I would have the bigger one ^^. I've tried it for four days now and so far I really loved it. I loved how my skin felt clean and fresh after I used it. I didn't felt sticky moment like I had with my previous toner. Could this product really work or I got better in the application? Dunno. I got it around IDR120. It was the most expensive product from my purchase.

 Etude House Bakin Powder BB Deep Cleansing Pore

Believe it or not I didn't really care about this product at first. I loved my old facial foam so why spent extra money to have the expensive one? I did seet my eye on Etude House Baking Powder product, but not this one. I really wanted to have their Crunch Pore Scrub since I loved it so much. From my past purchase, I got this facial foam sample. Since I run out my facial foam I teared that and I was glad I did. It smelled freshly lemon like the Crunch Pore Scrub! What made me surprised it also contain fine granule that (I thought) would work as scrub. I checked this facial foam price and it was cheaper (IDR95)  than Crunch Pore Scrub one. So why didn't I get this one as facial foam and scrub?? More money saved! Since I had this after tring the sample size so it was clear that I fell for this right?

 Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Line AD#2 Pink Beige(above) and #5 Natural Berry (below)

I had really no ide what lip liner for until I watched one of beauty guru used it on her make up tutorial. It said that lip liner would help people with dark lips (and my lip is really dark, the upper lip ;() and bring lipstick color out. I remembered looking for this lip liner for long time since it was so cheap. I got it for IDR22 each! Once i knew the function I placed it soon on my whishlist. I haven't tried them so I dunno about the performance. Hope I like it like other products. I got two colors and picked the dark tone since they told me to pick the closest shade to my natural lip color.

 Baviphat brush Set
This haul was full of surprise thing for me. I never knew the way to use brush make up so I never desired them. I hooked with Pony's Beauty Diary this past months, and for u who watched it too u must be know that she used brush a lot. Since she looked at eased with that brush I began to want to try it myself. Furthermore it looked much more easier to make gradient lip with lip brush rather than using finger or the included brush (something that I always wanted to create since I had lip tint). But make up brush is always expensive. I rather bought make up product than the tools. Gladly I found this little one with so much affordable price (IDR99!!!) that contain 4 brushes. Not complete of course but hey, I was still newbie though. having too much brushes would only confuse me. I did goes blank the moment I opened this. What's this for? What's that for? I used the lip brush (side left) and I found how easy to make gradient lip! Love love!

Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse 02 (left) and 04 (right)

My first ever Innisfree's product!!! Yeay!!!!  This brand famous for its eco-friendly image that I adored so much. Seems my December haul was like lippies galore >< I never placed this product into my whishlist. To tell the truth I didn't have many lippies in my whishlist. I never wanted to buy them until once day I watched other video from Pony (Love Day Make Up). She used this two products and I , without thinking much, placed them in my order list (not even in my whishlist!!) It was like I got possesed. Watch that video and u will know why. She mixed the both colors and created really beautiful lip color. Maybe this two were the highlight of this haul. Unlike other products that my eyes had set onto them, I was totally blind about this. I read the review AFTER I ordered them, bot before, so it was quite risky actually. The no 02 was quite different color with what I saw from the video. In the video it was light pink color but in real life it was combination between pink and orange. I intended to used this on my birthday but I couldn't resist and tried them before I wrote this post. And thank u God I did! I didn't realize that my lips were chapped and the color sat very ugly on top! I need to lip scrubbing before used this >< Plus, its consistency was way thicker that I thought. Maybe because it was a mousse?

What's exiting about buying korean make up was samples. Either u got it from store or online sho u would get it if u exceed certain cost. I always wait my package and think happily about what samples they sent me now. And for this haul, I got really surprise. They gave me alot! Comparing with my purchase before I didn't expect this. From my first purchase they gave 1 sample of Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base (which I accepted happily since I wanted it!) for IDR100 I paid them. then my second purchase they gave me 1 (again) Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base and 1 Face Conditioning Cream. Unlike the previous one I got little disapointed since both products were the product I had. That time I spent IDR230. So based on my previous purchased, this time purchased (IDR587) would gave me 5 samples. But hey, they gave me 12 samples! 10 of them were Precious Mineral BB Cream (Cotton Fit, Blloming Fit and Perfect Fit) in shades lighter than mine (No2 & W13) so I received it happily! Also 2 Pearl Aura Brightening Essences. I had this essence but somehow it looked different with mine.

Yeay finished! I promised to myself to make review about them. So I better keep it on my head XD

Review: Etude House Baby Choux Base Peach Choux

Uh Oh, I really need to do my task. I felt so bored so I put some bb cream on my face even I didn't go anywhere today. Then suddenly that feeling came out. I rushed to my mobile phone to take some picture since I suddenly wanted to make a review. He he he.

Remember my July haul post?? One of the product I bought was base make up from Etude House: Baby Choux Base Peach Choux and I'm going to write review about it. Yes yes I knew I was tooo way late to post about it since this product had been around since last year and was quite popular (if not really). But better be late than never right? Check this out gals!

Baby Choux Base was part of "Sweet Recipe" collection launched on 2013 by Etude House soon after Sulli and Krystal joined as their newest face (if I wasn't wrong. But I quite was sure, since soon after I read about those two became EH's new model, the brand released this collection). At that time I never pay attention to those make-up skincare things. But since my favorite f(x) members became their new model I rushed to watch the CF and man........that was the cause of my realization that I was a girl.

From only collecting my favorite idols' Cf I fell deeper into K-World by seeing the package. But hey! Which girl who wouldn't fell for this suuupeeerrrr cute packaging??? Who wouldn't want to display this great jar on their buffet??? I never knew that K-Brand was so innovative with their package. I used to see my mother's make up and all of them looked the same. So boring. This brand (Etude House) really changed my mind about make up. Actually I knew another brand that also came out with creative design, but none better than Etude House. Woah, it looked like I really loved them. I wanted it so bad but I didn't have any access about how to get it. I didn't know anything about online shopping back then><

Our pretty Sulli!!! Baby Choux was endorsed by her while Krystal endorsed the jelly lipstick (the packaging was also cute but it just like another lipstick tube). Could it be one factor why I wanted this Choux??? Since I like Sulli so much????

I wasn't sure what 'base' mean. I barely knew that BB cream was something to put onto ur face that had function like foundation but in lighter texture. This base make up was came out with three different color to suit every person's skin tone. I was so sure that the one that best for me was the green one which promoted to correct reddish skin color.

just when I finally had access to get K-Product, the firs one I checked was this Choux. Too bad, I was too late. Etude House had changed the package into tube one. Actually this one had more advantages in term of economic and travel-friendly compared with jar one. This tube came out with more 10 g with the same price and since it had tube form, it didn't consume too much space in ur bag. But, as make-up blind person, I didn't really care about that travel friendly thing. What I wanted was that cute jar!!!! (how childish ><) That's why I didn't buy this instead I got Face Conditioning.Why stopped the jar version Etude? Why?????

I finally resolved my mind and didn't mind to buy Baby Choux Base though it wasn't on jar. I was about to order this Mint one but my Trial Precious Magic Cushion arrived and thanks God. This one didn't look good on my face! I thought since my acne scar got hyperpigmentated this green base would work well ;(

But hey, did u notice something?? This tube was a bit different with that tube above. I'll tell u later.

This pink one? Uhm.........Pass it! This one for 'pale' skin color. My skin? It was far from being pale. But actually I set my mind to get this base make up because I got sample in this color from my previous purchased. The smell was really nice and it was really easy to blend to the point I thought "I need this in full size!"

I ordered this peach one. The color matched well with my dark skin when I put that Precious Magic Cushion in Peach. I hoped this one worked well too.

When the product came to me I was a bit confused. I Thought this Choux was different from what I remembered. I was true, when I took closer look to the package i didn't find any 'sweet recipe' on the tube or the box. I checked and I found out that this one wasn't part of Sweet Recipe anymore. I didn't complain though. The tube was slimmer and smaller than I expected, well in the pict it looked like they would come out huge. But hey, it only contain 35 g product. And this 'only 35 g' was really much!!!

I accidentally left the box in my hometown and forgot to bring it back with me. So I couldn't show u mine. It also came out with seal like my Face Conditioning Cream.

Only this much. Yes. Then spread it on ur hand before applying it onto ur face. My favorite way to apply it was with ur finger then tap it. It seriously gave u very natural look, it wasn't look as heavy as if u only distribute it directly onto the face like what Sulli did in her "Geit It Beauty Self" video. But it was depended on how ur skin condition and what kind of base make up look that u want (dewy, soft or matte).

On this pict I put the base on my left face. I forgot to take pict of my bare face, since I didn't intentionally want to make review in the first place. Notice any different? My left face definitely more white than my right one. It also slightly cover my blemish. It did enhance my skin tone!

Now I put Etude house BB cream Cotton Fit on my right face. I spent the same amount with what I usually need for my entire face only for this half face. My skin tone brighter but not as bright as the side with Baby Choux Base (I didn't put BB cream yet onto that side yet)

Now I put BB cream on left side. Only small amount since my face already white, just to correct some uneven skin color from left side. The side with Choux+Cotton Fit was smoother than side that only had Cotton Fit on it. Don't mind my dark circle and my blemish. U still need concealer to cover all of the blemish since mine was quite bad.

Taraaah!!! After I 'pat pa't onto my face to  make sure the cream absorbed well. I was quite satisfied with the result although the blemish still appeared, but they had been hid quite well! Even my friend that definitely better at make up than me fell with this product. She kept praise this Choux and said how nice the result was.

What I like:

• Affordable!!! I got it around IDR110!!!! With 35 g product inside,  it was definitely cheap!!
• Nice scent, it had similar scent with Berry Choux but wasn't as strong as it
• Smooth ur face, well u need different way to apply it
• Natural look! It was also depended on how much u applied and the way u put it. just use a little amount would be enough!
• Only 35 g but it will last like forever! Since u only need small amount of it
• It really didn't crumpled when u fell u need to add more layer on top! Seriously guys!
• White? Yes, but light white that wouldn't turn u into "ghost". Kekekeke
• Nice SPF! As far this product was the highest SPF product that I had. it was 33++!!! Wow, even higher than Cotton Fit  
• BB cream friendly! I didn't know whether using base make up could let ur make up last longer, but for the amount I needed for BB cream if I applied this before definitely fewer than if I used BB cream alone! Hooraayyy, save my money!

Repurchased? Hem, I was still in doubt. Although I love it so much but I also wanted to try another base make up from another brand. Since it has limitation of date from ur first time u opened it (only 12 m) buying more than 1 base make up would be hard for me;(

Today's Drama: Birth of Beauty/ 미녀의 탄생 / Minyeoui Tansaeng Part I (Spoiler Alert!!) (Ongoing)

I know that in my previous post I told u that I was in the middle of crazy schedule. I know that writing new post was kind of loony act. I know that spared some times to watch drama in my current situation was totally surprising. But hey, I'm in my way to reach what people called 'peak of bored', tired of every presentations, tests and my usual daily activities. I even got sleep deprived in which I got sleepy around 7-8 PM already and woke up around 23-24 PM. This changing made me loss almost half of my energy around 11-12 AM.

So I need some runaway. Days ago I was watching the newest ep of Running Man. The guests were the cast of "Birth of Beauty", SBS newest weekend drama. I've heard about that drama since the cast was announced. Ji Sang Wook, man. I knew him. He was on Good Doctor and acted as professor (kyyaaahhhhh, if only any young professor like him around me. All of my professors are grandpas XP, no complain though) and I loved him on that. Next he acted as lead on Cunning Single Lady together with Lee Min Jung (gosh! She's so pretty!!!) as a founder of free chat application. On CSL, his character was totally different with GD, he was playing cold CEO that still had weak heart as before.He also came to Running Man twice before and I should admit it, he's so funny and strange :D. Back to our newest drama, the female lead is Han Ye Seul. I didn't watch many of her dramas, only Myung Wol The Spy. Hum, to tell the truth I even didn't watch it to the end, only first few episodes since I got bored with the story. In Running Man she did quite many aegyo (no comment about that) and showed us her determinant side to win the game no matter what to take (watch Running Man 219 and u will find her crazy facial pose that made me ROFL).

 Let's take a look onto SBS newest drama!!!

This scene quite shocked me. No no, nothing particular actually, but, did u see Han Ye Seul's heels?? Damn! It was high!!!! OMG!! I worried about her ankle the moment I saw this. This cut was from the beginning scene. So the drama was opened with news about plastic surgery. they told us that SK's plastic surgery technology had been made many people around the world to come there to had their faces done. Actually I worried about this, I mean K-Drama was quite popular. Was it okay to have that kind of scene appeared? It was like u acknowledge that most korean people had been on the table to get what they called better appearance. While most of the celebrities there tried so hard to tell the world that they were real beauty, natural beauty and blah blah blah. I myself have mixed feeling about plastic surgery. I believed that real reason scientist developed plastic surgery was to help people who had real problems. By real problems here it was people who got severely distorted face due to severe trauma and congenital defect. Not to satisfy people who find theirselves unperfect. Nobody's perfect anyway. Okay, back to drama. Based on synopsis I read before the ep 1 released, this told story about a woman who reborn as amazingly beauty under some circumstances. Han Ye Seul, of course would play the female lead and Ji Sang Wook would play as plastic surgeon ('he had been doctor before, it couldn't be any difficult' That was I though first).

A taxy run in one of Seoul's road, inside there was Ye Seul. She looked really surprised by the street and told the driver that she was an announcer and just returned from USA to work with new channel HBS. She decided to stop before reaching her actual destination to walk around the street that mesmerized her so much.

See? Her foots were completely up! That heels almost half long of her legs! U better had some message later on unnie!

On outdoor cafe, there was bunch of gals talkinga bout what to fix next on their body part to make them more beautiful. To tell u the truth, could they really going all out like that after having surgery? Didn't they need to take some rest rather than hang out like that? Plus, after under knife (doesn't matter what kind of surgery u had) ur body would swollen so much. That girls didn't. Well, okay we could have another theory. the girls had passed their critical moment and hence their swollen had also gone. But, if that was the case, would they still need those bandages?? As far as I knew, bandage was to prevent ur wound got infection from outer and to help the stitch to stay still. That girls were looked perfectly okay, so I thought they wouldn't need any bandage over their faces (they even had their make up on!). Gosh, I need to relaxed! It just a drama afterall, the crew might want us to know that the girls on the street had been under knife.

Hm, it wasn't like I couldn't understand them. I'm girl but I love any beautiful things (whether it was pretty girls or handsome guy), but....don't u think their reaction was too much. A bit of exaggeration. Rather than seeing pretty girls, their expression was more like seeing an alien. They couldn't even take their eyes out of Han Ye Seul away. I mean, come on, no matter how pretty people I see, I wouldn't frankly showed it in front of others. And I believe many people would do so. Or maybe people in SK find them okay?

 

Han Ye Seul walked confidently, could it be she didn't realized all stares or she just enjoyed all of the attention??

Hahahahaha, poor man. They didn't even care when water splashed to their friend. This admiration even more severe than that plastic surgery gals, he pointed his fingers! Whoops

I remembered this place! It was location where Running Man had their race before! Ha ha ha. I surprised to see Han Ye Seul didn't really look gigantic despite wearing those scary heels.

Another rude man showed his reaction with finger. I doubt I would ever find this scene in real life. My friends would make ruckus when see pretty, but they would'n make it too obvious like this. Meh

Yes yes yes, Ye Seul unnie was very pretty. I agreed. But unnie, did pretty people would normally smile widely like that when they're walking?

Even soldiers made their way for unnie, this kind of admiration still considered normal. They've been on camp with all-male afterall, so seeing goddess and couldn't hide their expression was just okay.

Did u see many people gathered behind unnie's back?? Typical of dramas, they used so many people to made crowd at the opening of drama to showed audience that something big rally exist and then those spectators disappeared with the more episodes (e.g My girlfriend is gumiho, remember how males drolled over Miho?? Minho became 'normal' girl after that without any annoying boys  turned their neck). We will see whether this beauty kept make boys went crazy ><

Han Ye Seul decided to went into a cafe. She just sat when the part timers boy urgely gave her food. being beauty is surely advantagious! She just barely sitting, even before ordering anything!!

A fortune teller on the pict seemed to have interview when he shocked by Ye Seu'ls face. He forgot his own interview and came to Ye Seul to study her face more.

He asked Ye Seul whether she was a celebrity and the girl answered it. Gosh, it was indoor conversation but look at the next scene!

Those crowd outside listen to thier conversation!! Did it make sense???

This poor was actually woman Geum Ran herself. No, I didn't call her poor because she was fat (that's the truth) but because people looked her down so much and showed it to her. I applaused her cheerful smile despite people treated her badly. On the last pict, when she fell on bus as the driver suddenly hit the brake, people had pitiful expression on their face, but Geum Ran acted as nothing happened and still smiled. If that was me, I could stare back at those people and started yelling to ask the driver stopping the bus. Not to mention how her sisters in law slyly smiled at her. They were so bad to the point I wanted to smack their face (relax, it was only drama)

Current Geum Ran watched the old Geum Ran's story from TV that showed audience the harsh life of some people who didn't really good looking. Seriously, Korea had the real tv show that offering 'ugly people' a chance to change their appearance. People there seemed really appreciate beautiful girl and handsome boy. 

Back to the drama, sadly Geum Ran didn't win the chance to make her slimmer, furiously our current Geum Ran asked tv crew why they didn't let that poor fat woman had her change (don't ask me why she could contact the producer). Current Geum Rand found out that the fat woman was withdrawn from the contest so they had no choice but let another contestant win.

The story came back and front. Geum Ran's husband who worked in USA had came back although he didn't contact his wife, but Geum Ran managed to know it and happily came to hotel where he stayed only to find out her husband's affair with another woman who was slim and beautiful. 

Geum Ran met that woman and asked her nicely to leave her husband. But, what a world. She asked Geum Ran whether she knew her appearance of herself that was ugly. Both women made ruckus in that cafe, Chae Yun (that woman's name) slipped on her high hells and blamed Geum Ran for it. People on the cafe wasn't at help at all since they were all believed the pretty woman instead of the scary fat woman.

Geum Ran's husband finally appeared in front of her by telling Chae Yun's manager "yes, she is my wife" let Geum Rand felt happy (how innocent!!!) Sadly, he also came to tell her that he was going to end their marriage. U should watch how good the actress's acting was! I could feel her disbelieve and pain though her expression. She loved her husband so much to the point she could endure people's stare at her. Instead of blamed her husband's adultery, she said that she would fix any bad thing inside her so her husband wouldn't leave her. 

 

Geum Ran finally realized how lonely she was. It seemed like nobody in this world actually cared about her.

I knew some of my words above were quite harsh, but I like this drama not to the point I couldn't wait for another next episode though. From first two episodes it were so good that I couldn't guess how this drama will lead. Sadly the next two episodes (3 and 4) were quite boring. Geum Ran finally realized that the poor woman in tv was actually herself. She got amnesia due to anaesthetic's used for prolonge time during her plastic surgery. It was Han Tae Hee (Ji Sang Wook) who helped her out since he loved Chae Yun. They teamed up to thwart Geum Ran's husband & Chae Yun's wedding. Geum Ran was reborn and named herself "Sara".

If only the story in this drama revolved around Sara's problem, I would left it without watching it since it was too plain. But I relieved that Han Tae Hee had his own mysterious past that he was actually grandson from really huge company who hid himself after his father death. I just finished the 5th episode and it was exceed my expectation! This drama still worth to watch!

That's all, I need tto study since I will have my last exam the day after tomorrow.
