between my work: a little escape before war, My Must Watch Drama

Annyeong. Hello there. It's been a while since my last post. I was buried, once again, into my laziness that kept getting worse by the time. When I have nothing to do (read: any task or obligation or for simple, homework) I would sit prettily in front of my laptop watching dramas or just playing around the internet.

My current class didn't require much task like my past had. Well it didn't mean I had less thing to learn, but no task, no obligation. Actually I have presentation this morning. But I've delayed many things too long. So I decided to grit my teeth and make the post.

I love to watch dramas, mostly K-Drama, but sometimes I also indulged in J-Drama and very rare I found myself enjoying Western series. Today I would like to share my current must watch drama. Check this out since they are all so good!! I didn't organize them in order. I couldn't decide which one is better.

1. Pinocchio

Great!!! I was left in awe when I first watched the first 2 episodes. I didn't expect much from this drama at first. Truthfully I had no interest at all initially. Pinocchio?? What the hell? Did they tend to remake fairytale too now? That what was crossed my mind when I read the tittle. Then they announced the lead female would be Park Shin Hye. No offense, but all of her drama that I watched before, it ALWAYS had great start then getting plain in the middle and end with bunch of bored stuff. I told to myself not to get this drama since it would only waste my time. Then they confirmed Lee Jong Suk as the male lead. I lost my grip. I watched all of his dramas. School 2013 was daebak (they wrote like that) but for me it was just another boring high school drama. Doctor Stranger was okay but I'm not really fan of it (I prefer Kang So Ra over Jin Se Yeon sorry Se Yeon fans XP)). It was I Hear Ur Voice that hooked me into Lee Jong Suk.The drama that made me couldn't help at all but to get curious with all of his dramas. I'm happy I choose to give Pinocchio  a try.

This drama offering really interesting story from its very start. They started with some stories from the past that getting nice cut to be showed with the present. They served really well portion from the main's childhood, teens and current situation. I always weak with family's story, and Pinocchio had it. Actually they have it all, family's conflict, love's conflict and how difficult u to live in this world. I especially love the episode when Dal Po (Ki Ha Myung aka Lee Jong Suk) met his older brother Ki Jae Myung. My friend and I sacrificed so much of our tears during this last two episode airing (11 and 12). Huwweeeee ;(

As for Par Shin Hye, gosh! She did pretty well here! I'm not saying that her acting was bad or what, but her past project was too plain. no, not the storyline but her character there. In this Phinocchio she was able to escape from those boring-character-jail and built up a new, strong yet cute character of Choi In Ha really well. Nice try Shin Hye-sshi!!

2. Healer

Pam paraaaaaaam. My another unpredicting list. I didn't intended to watch this new freshly baked drama. Really, I knew who the hero and heroine were. But, seeing Park Min Young from above poster just, in some undescribe reason, made me lost my feel to watch it. I needed to see the poster twice to ensure my eye that it was indeed Par Min oung on the poster not another actress. Yeah, I knew, it was only her hairstyle that changed, but it changed her entire face!! Well, it was stupid to not watch drama just because u felt strange with the actress face. I let this drama on my unsure list for like 3-4 days until I run out new episode to watch then I decided to watch their first 2 episodes that, like my other watching drama, I was glad I did!!

The story reminded me too much with Park Min Young's drama before with Lee Min Ho (who was also her ex): City Hunter. This drama also offering some cool action scene from the very handsome Ji Chang Wook who (he might not as tall as Lee Min Ho, but as hot as he is!) has showed great acting from his previous project. Park Min Young also portrayed as lost child on both. But no fear gals, the storyline was totally different. It's all about a sophisticated hot courier (Seo Jung Hoo aka Ji Chang Wook) who would do any work except killing to gain money and noisy yet funny internet reporter (Chae Young Shin aka Park Min Young) who dreamt to be a great journalist as like her idol (Kim Mon Hoo aka Yoo Ji Tae)

Healer offering more complicated story than Pinocchio (my purely opinion). My friends usually asking me to get them the synopsis from the dramas before deciding to watch them, but I find it hard to describe this Healer (or maybe I just dumb? LOL). From the very first they already showed us tangled scene. From mysterious 'healer' guy to any random 1980 scene that kept confusing me (it turned out to be story about (Chae Young Shin's real parents and child Kim Mon Hoo). U know the funny thing? On ep 3 and 4, they released the subtitle reaaaaly late. I was having hard time on my chair waiting for the sub. I even challenged myself by watching it non-sub. And I learned one interesting point: my understanding toward korean wasn't as bad as I thought! Hahahahaha.

3. Once Upon A Time Season 02

Hm. Interesting. Very interesting. On this list, this serial is the only one that didn't come from Asia. And I'd told u one more secret, this was my second west series that I enjoyed (the first one was Doctor House). Years ago my friend gave me Once Upon A Time Season 01 that left me in amaze due to great visualization, nice act and unbelievably superb script! Yeah, it was that good that I even came out with screaming at the end after knowing that there was another season for this. I hate long stories, but for this one, I think I wouldn't mind at all. 

Before bringing u into this season 02 it would be nice if I shared some points about season 01 first. So, do u know fairy tale? Hump, I doubt any of u who doesn't since, hey, even a girl like me knowing about it!. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, etc etc (thanks to my chairmate on my elementary days, she showed me her books about it!). Most of them was ended happily, the princess got her prince, the evil was defeated and the good would always stand last. But on Once Upon A Time everything was different. All of ur fairy tale didn't tell u the truth. Any magic the hero or heroin used always came with price. Nothing free in the world babe, not even in the fairy tale (interesting enough, huh?). 

So all of the fairy tale character u've ever known, yes. ALL OF THEM was brought into our world, where no magic could be find. It was a curse since nobody remember who they really are, nobody except the evil queen and the mysterious yet charming (what DID I say???) guy: Rumplestilskin. The evil queen adopted son realized this situation (he read the fairy tale book, no, not the one that we had) and found out that the people on Storyrooke was too similar with people on the book. He believed the curse and started a way to find a person who could break this curse: Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter who also, his real mother.

Shortly, the kid successfully found that woman and brought her to Storybrooke. They went to difficult path to believe and fight the evil. The curse finally broken and people realized who they are. But Rumplestilskin brought the magic back to this world and the season 01 finished. Annoyed right? I screamed and rushly searched for this season 02. It was hard, and after I finally able to get it, the size of the file was too large. It was around 300 mb for each episode! I tried another link but couldn't find any smaller size. Hiks. It would rob me! I disciplined myself that I would only downloaded 1 episode per day that way my internet could survive longer. But currently i broke my own rule and download 2 episode for this past 2 days (blame my unpatient). I'm currently on 8th episode babe.

4. Itazura Na Kiss: Love in Tokyo 2

Yeah, this was a remake from Itazura Na Kiss, japan drama aired during my elementary school days and took my school in storm. Sadly I wasn't able to watch it at the time since my parent didn't permit me to watch any love-love drama at that time. Kekekekeke. I fell for the Love in Tokyo 1 which was full drama. Well I knew 1 thing for sure, Irie Naoki was the hardest to understand male lead from all dramas that I've ever watched. Seriously this guy was too persistent and stubborn!!!

What I adore from this drama was their great make up artist skill! The guy and the girl from the poster are differ 10 years apart! Yes! That guy was older than me and the girl was born on 1997 but they face didn't show it at all!! When in high school, Kotoko showed bubbly and cute high schooler's charm, when she got into college, hmmmmm her face had matured enough to convince people that she was older than me (no? Okay). And then she got married and her style became more mature yet still cute. I hardly believe that they used the same actress for this. Ckckckckck. 

I'm currently loss some of my excitement due to the late ep 3 that didn't air last week. But I hope this one as good as the Love in Tokyo 1.

between my works: Freebies!!

Annyeong annyeong!! How's ur day?? Mine was quite great. It was raining almost everyday here. Which was creating best environment for sleep. Which was no good for me since I need tasks to do. Seemed like I always had bunch things in my hands eh? Hahahahahaha.

I just came home when I saw package for me sent from yukcoba.in, a web offering u to review products on list for FREE!!! No kidding, they even paid the delivery cost. Weeks ago I saw a facial wash from some brand and I hurriedly filling their formulir and got chosen! Alhamdulillah...><

Since 2014 has came to near end, I decided to concluded what I got for free from this year. It wasn't that much, but hey! I never received such things before, so I was really happy^^~~~

 (Based on time I received them) Pond's Complete Solution Acne Clear White (sample size), Faber Castell Coloring Memory Game (10 colors), Listerine Natural Green Tea Antiseptic Mouthwash (sample size) & Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash

Not much but it was great for me. I started to know how to get products free from online and got addicted to it. I mean who wouldn't love to have anything for free?? >< Actually my first 'free' thing was a cereal I got from yukcoba.in months ago. Since it was a food, so I no longer had the product to capture it with my camera phone.

 Pond's Complete Solution Acne Clear White Multi Action Facial Foam + Scrub (sample size)

Which one of u never tried any Pond's product before? I bet almost all of u did. This brand had been exist since very long time, I didn't knew the exact time for sure but I clearly remembered that since my childhood, I've heard about this. On early 2014 they launched their newest product to combat acne which was called "Complete Solution". unlike any other series, this line had more products that hooked me. Sadly since I lived in small city, it was really hard to find all of them. This line consisted of: Facial Foam + Scrub, Overnight Pimple Gel, Pimple Cover & Care Concealer Pen and Oil COntrol Cleansing Wipes. Wow. Months later after the launching and when my craving over these had been disappear, I found an interesting thing on my facebook home. It was Pond's official account which showed page that offering people to get chance to try their Complete Solution series. I rushly liked their page and found some information that I need to fill some document. I followed the instruction and got email from them saying their gratitude over my participation and said that the product would be sent to my address. I was overly happy until I saw that from the same mail they told me that the event would be valid until January. And the time I knew about this event was definitely not in January but months later. I thought the mail was an automatic replay that would be sent soon after someone sent u email. Sadly I had no expectation to try out their series for free. But hey (again) months later a package arrived on my address. I was surprised since I didn't have any package to be wait for. They did sent it to me!!! Wow, Thank u Pond's Indonesia!!

I thought that they only gave the facial foam sample. Mine was 15g with "not for sale" written on the tube. it was small and I used in when I need to go traveling. This one had similar scent that other Pond's product would be.

 Faber Castell Coloring Memory Game (10 colors)

This was my second product I got from yukcoba.in. Since my first product, I had no chance to try out any new product. I did fill the form but never been lucky enough to be chosen. Around 2-3 months ago I tried to fill the form again and hey! I got chosen!!! Before had this I had The Connector Pen first in 40 colors. But my younger brother seemed to like it so I gave it to him. I never had time to buy the new one for me. Luckily I got this. Although only available in 10 colors, it helped a lot to make my note became better^^

For u who living in Indonesia and wanted to tried new item for free, u could visit their web. U only need to check their offered list, choose one of them and fill in the form. If u got chosen they would sent u the product and gave u time to try it urself to then making review based on ur personal opinion. Later u would received email from them telling date for ur review would be upload on their website. how's that? Isn't that great enough u got freebies and then u would see ur post read by others?? But I don't know whether they shipped abroad or not.

 Listerine Natural Green Tea Antiseptic Mouthwash (mini size)

When I back to my hometown, i found Listerine had new 'flavor' for their mouthwash. I've been fan of Listerine since years though I rarely bought any mouthwash before (they naturally pushed out from my needed list by other products since I need to selectively choose what I need. The suffer from kid who living apart from her parent><). I bought it soon, in huge bottle (200 or 250 ml?) Of course my mums was the one paid for it. This mouthwash lived my expectation. The sensation of green tea (which I like so much) and freshness leaved ur mouth felt nice and clean.

I found in their facebook official account that they will give this as sample so that people could try it out before buying. hem, I already bought it and I loved it. So why didn't I participate to get the new free one? Since it had been quite a while from the time it was released, I thought "Well, another expired event?" But learnt from experience with Pond's event I still stubbornly following the step to get it. Received mail said they would sent it to me. Then waited impatiently for over weeks. The package didn't come. So I just told myself that maybe since this was a massive giveaway event so they only sent the package on certain time.

I began to forgrt about Listerine and hey!! Week ago they arrived safely to me, at the same time my haul package arrived. Double happiness!!!

Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash

My third product from yukcoba.in that arrived just yesterday. Before I've been longing for their new Garnier Facial Foam and sadly the chance to try it out fell to another people (congrats for them><). If only i didn't saw pict of junsu using a lipbalm from this brand on the past maybe i wouldn't fill the form to try this. the brand was totally new for me. yukcoba.in always describe their products, but it wasn't the describtion that sold me, but the brand and the fact junsu had it. I wanted to tried this badly since i never saw any of this product either in my hometown or on my current town.The one I got was 100 ml. I think it was their full size.

My -er Months Haul

Annyeong people! Finally I'm writting here again, after like uummm...forever? Well, it couldn't be helped, I was so busy with my daily activities to the point I prefer to sleep when I had spare time.

Actually there were a bunch of stuff in my head that I wanted to write first to celebrate my "comeback" (errr what???). But days ago I got my long-time-to-wait package. Yup, I did ordered some beauty stuff to fill my obsession about make up. So I decided to make a post about it^^

Firstly, why "My -er Months Haul"?? I just recently realized that I was really too extravagant about my money in term of shopping. Yeah, I did spent alot on make up, something that people around me found it strange. Most of my friends prefer to buy any other longer lasting item such fashion stuff. And make up, yup it was meant to be used and u need to buy the new one soon after u finishes ur old one. Plus, the girls around me didn't pay too much attention to make up (wake up gurl).

Well, if u compared me to other girls out there who spent much more money than me to buy any kind of make up, u must be wondering why I called myself extravagant. First, I'm still a student who got her allowance from parents. My parent did trust me with money they gave, means they don't care how I used them but I couldn't get extra money in case I spent them before the next allowance sent. Actually my mum found out about my obsession and she just didn't really agree with my way to spend the money. She just was afraid that make up I bought wouldn't suit my skin and would only worsen my skin condition (I only shopped Korean products that actually meant for Korean). But I ensured her that it was what I loved and I wouldn't causing any troubles for them, that I would take really good care for my skin and my health. Back to the topic, so since I depended to my parent for my income, I couldn't carelessly spent them although I really loved make up. So everytime my shopping galore attacked me, I would really be careful. I measured what I need in a month (for food, internet cost and room rent) thinking whether I could 'survived' if I bought new make up and browsing whether the thing that I wanted really good or not. Second, since I was shopping in online shop I needed to pay the delivery cost. This was the things that make me thinking twice to shop. Whether ur package is small or big the cost would be almost the same.

Since I was stingy about delivery cost, I decided to purchase anything in large haul so I needed to save money. I made list about product that I wanted and ended up shock. The price was more than 3 millions! LOL!! That was almost impossible, so I scanned the list more than once and chose item that I really needed (or wanted XP).

I called it "-er Months Haul" since the products showed below were purchased around September, October and November. I was pretty sure that I wouldn't buy anything in this December (I haven't pay this month's rent ;(!!!)

Ooopss, I ended up talking too much! Let's just see what I got from this past three months!

 Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cotton Fit in W24 (Honey Beige)

Fyyuhhh, such a long name. Korean really loves to named their product with long and (sometimes) ridiculous name. Well, but this one could be considered as normal and short name compared to other products. This BB Cream was on my whislist since forever. I was always wonder about Korean BB Cream. Before had this one, I owned 3 other BB Creams: Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream(Natural), Caring Color BB Cream Luminizing (that was my mom's!!) and Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector (only one shade). There were bunch of positive reviews about this Etude House's BB Cream and many beauty bloggers loved it so much. I see why now ><.  I got this on September, the reason I hurriedly bought it was it was on discount!! I got this araound IDR130!! Man, I couldn't let the gold chance slipped away right? I didn't have any regret. This BB worked so well that even my makeup-blind-friend praised it alot. <3 <3 <3

Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Milk

Yup, this one was the full size ver from what I got from my (mixed) haul. I loved how it worked to cleanse my face. And since I really need to take care of my skin, I bought it. Actually it was more than 2 months I skipped milk cleanser, I got busier and had no time to bought it at that time. I began to forget about milk cleanser until my teacher told me the importance of milk cleanser as deep cleansing. Everyone, milk cleanser is important to purify ur skin from any harm things (either it is make up residue, air pollution or dust)! So make sure to have it on ur skincare routine! I got this around November. Since this full size didn't have any discount price, so it cost me more than I imagined (around IDR16!! LOL)!!!

 

Etude House (Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam, Soft Touch Auto Lip Liner AD#2 & 5, Wonder Pore Freshner 250 ml), Baviphat Brush Set, Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse No 02 & 04

Taraaaahhhhhhh.....the highlight of this "-er Months haul!!!" Actually I also ordered Etude House Sweet Recipe Sliced Cake Puffs, but it was out of stock (sad face, I really wanted to try using puff though). This whole cost me around IDR500! Whoah! That's a lot! But I really was satisfied and didn't feel any regret at all. usually I would feel at fault whenever I spent too much money. But it didn't appear this time. I guessed I really went through many deep thinking before purchased it so no fault at all. I placed my order on November but the package arrived at 3rd December. Quite late but thankfully they arrived safely. Let's take a closer look to this!

 Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 250 ml

Yeah, who wouldn't know this so infamous toner from Etude House?? It was cheap with huge product and nice result. I've been wanted this multifunction toner from veeeery long time. I got the smaller size since I didn't know whether it would suit my skin or not. Once I verify that this product was really from me I would have the bigger one ^^. I've tried it for four days now and so far I really loved it. I loved how my skin felt clean and fresh after I used it. I didn't felt sticky moment like I had with my previous toner. Could this product really work or I got better in the application? Dunno. I got it around IDR120. It was the most expensive product from my purchase.

 Etude House Bakin Powder BB Deep Cleansing Pore

Believe it or not I didn't really care about this product at first. I loved my old facial foam so why spent extra money to have the expensive one? I did seet my eye on Etude House Baking Powder product, but not this one. I really wanted to have their Crunch Pore Scrub since I loved it so much. From my past purchase, I got this facial foam sample. Since I run out my facial foam I teared that and I was glad I did. It smelled freshly lemon like the Crunch Pore Scrub! What made me surprised it also contain fine granule that (I thought) would work as scrub. I checked this facial foam price and it was cheaper (IDR95)  than Crunch Pore Scrub one. So why didn't I get this one as facial foam and scrub?? More money saved! Since I had this after tring the sample size so it was clear that I fell for this right?

 Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Line AD#2 Pink Beige(above) and #5 Natural Berry (below)

I had really no ide what lip liner for until I watched one of beauty guru used it on her make up tutorial. It said that lip liner would help people with dark lips (and my lip is really dark, the upper lip ;() and bring lipstick color out. I remembered looking for this lip liner for long time since it was so cheap. I got it for IDR22 each! Once i knew the function I placed it soon on my whishlist. I haven't tried them so I dunno about the performance. Hope I like it like other products. I got two colors and picked the dark tone since they told me to pick the closest shade to my natural lip color.

This haul was full of surprise thing for me. I never knew the way to use brush make up so I never desired them. I hooked with Pony's Beauty Diary this past months, and for u who watched it too u must be know that she used brush a lot. Since she looked at eased with that brush I began to want to try it myself. Furthermore it looked much more easier to make gradient lip with lip brush rather than using finger or the included brush (something that I always wanted to create since I had lip tint). But make up brush is always expensive. I rather bought make up product than the tools. Gladly I found this little one with so much affordable price (IDR99!!!) that contain 4 brushes. Not complete of course but hey, I was still newbie though. having too much brushes would only confuse me. I did goes blank the moment I opened this. What's this for? What's that for? I used the lip brush (side left) and I found how easy to make gradient lip! Love love!

Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse 02 (left) and 04 (right)

My first ever Innisfree's product!!! Yeay!!!!  This brand famous for its eco-friendly image that I adored so much. Seems my December haul was like lippies galore >< I never placed this product into my whishlist. To tell the truth I didn't have many lippies in my whishlist. I never wanted to buy them until once day I watched other video from Pony (Love Day Make Up). She used this two products and I , without thinking much, placed them in my order list (not even in my whishlist!!) It was like I got possesed. Watch that video and u will know why. She mixed the both colors and created really beautiful lip color. Maybe this two were the highlight of this haul. Unlike other products that my eyes had set onto them, I was totally blind about this. I read the review AFTER I ordered them, bot before, so it was quite risky actually. The no 02 was quite different color with what I saw from the video. In the video it was light pink color but in real life it was combination between pink and orange. I intended to used this on my birthday but I couldn't resist and tried them before I wrote this post. And thank u God I did! I didn't realize that my lips were chapped and the color sat very ugly on top! I need to lip scrubbing before used this >< Plus, its consistency was way thicker that I thought. Maybe because it was a mousse?

What's exiting about buying korean make up was samples. Either u got it from store or online sho u would get it if u exceed certain cost. I always wait my package and think happily about what samples they sent me now. And for this haul, I got really surprise. They gave me alot! Comparing with my purchase before I didn't expect this. From my first purchase they gave 1 sample of Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base (which I accepted happily since I wanted it!) for IDR100 I paid them. then my second purchase they gave me 1 (again) Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base and 1 Face Conditioning Cream. Unlike the previous one I got little disapointed since both products were the product I had. That time I spent IDR230. So based on my previous purchased, this time purchased (IDR587) would gave me 5 samples. But hey, they gave me 12 samples! 10 of them were Precious Mineral BB Cream (Cotton Fit, Blloming Fit and Perfect Fit) in shades lighter than mine (No2 & W13) so I received it happily! Also 2 Pearl Aura Brightening Essences. I had this essence but somehow it looked different with mine.

Yeay finished! I promised to myself to make review about them. So I better keep it on my head XD
